Rumi's interfaith spirit of tolerance and respect is alive and well!  One organization that manifests it is the Council for a Parliament of the World's Religions.  Learn more about the largest interfaith gathering on the planet, sponsored by CPWR every five years. This year it was held in Melbourne, Australia, where Kell and Cynthia interviewed and filmed dozens of visionary leaders and spiritual activists representing virtually every faith, philosophy, and path on the planet. Among the many dynamic speakers whom Kell and Cynthia interviewed were Uncle Bob Randall, Australian aboriginal elder; Sister Joan Chittister, activist for women's rights; Rabbi Michael Lerner, visionary progressive activist; Dr. Chandra Muzzafar, Malayasian President of the International Movement for a Just World (JUST); and Ganzibra (Archbishop) Dr. Brikha Nasoraia, President of the International Mandaean Nasoraean Supreme Council (As the only surviving Gnostics, Mandeans are followers of St. John the Baptist from Iraq and persecuted in their home country.); Marta Benavides, a Salvadoran human rights activist and educator. Their collective wisdom will be given to the world in Heaven on Earth Creations' documentary in development about the emerging global spirituality, "Globalized Soul."
